NHS Treatments

NHS check-ups are free of charge. People who are in receipt of the following benefits can receive free treatment:

• Age 25 years or under are exempt
• Expectant mother
• Mothers with children under 1 year old
• Income support
• Universal credit
• Income related employment and support allowance
• Income based job seekers allowance
• Pension credit guarantee credit

Fees for NHS treatment are set by the Scottish Government and are subject to increase each year.
