More and more of our patients are joining our Membership Plans because they offer a simple, flexible way to pay for private dental care.
Why have we introduced Membership Plans?
As we hope you have already experienced, we are totally committed to providing all our patients with the best quality dental care. Introducing Membership Plans allows us to spend more time with our patients using the latest techniques and the highest quality materials.
Why should I become a member?
Membership ensures you have access to quality dental care, offers you a simple flexible way to pay for your dental treatment and is designed to encourage you to visit us regularly. This means
- Regular hygiene appointments resulting in far healthier gums
- Prevention techniques to reduce decay
- Early diagnosis of problems will mean less complex and expensive treatment

Monthly direct debit.
What is KDP’s Dental Emergency Assistance Support Product (The DEAS)?
The DEAS is a discretionary support product where you may be able to request assistance for the following:
- Emergency treatment when away from home or “outwith” normal practice hours
- Treatment following dental injury/trauma
- Hospital Benefit
- Oral Cancer
What types of Membership plans do you have?
MAINTENANCE PLAN
- Two Dental Examinations per year
- Up to four Hygienist visits per year
- Routine X-Rays
- 25% discount on any additional clinical treatment required (excluding implant and orthodontic treatment)
- Priority appointments
- Dental Emergency Assistance Support product
FULL CARE PLAN
- All routine dental treatment included (except the cost for making of a crown, bridge or dentures)
- Dental Hygienist Visits
- Plan Payment is determined by your Oral Health
- Dental Emergency Assistance Support product
Family discounts are available on the above plans.
Everyone in your family may benefit from being members of Kirriemuir Dental Practice Membership Plan.
If more than one of your family is a member of KDP Membership Plan the following discounts may apply (payments are collected by a single direct debit from your bank account)
- Two family members – 5% discount
- three family members – 10% discount
- four or more family members – 15% discount

The patients on the full plan are assessed by their dentist and banded according to clinical risk and dental history.
Maintenance Plan
- A – £18.51 (2 hygienist visits per year)
- B – £29.49 (4 hygienist visits per year)
Full Care Plan
- Band A – £25.69
- Band B – £37.08
- Band C – £46.74
