We’ve missed you!
To all our wonderful patients, we have missed you all terribly!
We are excited that we will soon be able to resume a very limited emergency dental service. We are awaiting permission from Scottish Government but we expect that we can start seeing you for extractions and simple dressings in the next couple of weeks.
Whilst this is only the first baby-step on our road to resuming full service, we’re looking forward to getting our hands dirty again. We’ve been working very hard in the background to make sure that you’ll be safe when you come to visit us. Only 1 patient will be allowed in the Practice at any given time. Initially, we are only permitted one dentist to work each day so you may not be able to see your usual dentist in an emergency.
Unfortunately, we won’t be allowed to use our drills at this stage – we await further updates from Scottish Government as to when they’ll permit this. This is why our treatments will be strictly limited to extractions and dressings only. Any emergency treatment which requires the use of a drill will be referred to the Urgent Dental Hub in Arbroath as we currently already operate.
The practice door will remain locked throughout the day and only patients with pre-arranged appointments will be allowed into the building so please don’t turn up to make appointments or settle accounts. This should continue to be done over the phone.
Emergency appointments cannot be made in advance and will only be offered on a day-to-day basis.
We will announce further updates on our page as soon as we can to let you know when we’ll be available to see emergencies.
